FOOD SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is a United States government agency that was founded to standardize sanitation and food safety requirements (www.nsf.org). NSF is an accredited, independent third-party certification body that tests and certifies products to verify they meet the public health and safety standards. Products that meet these standards bear the NSF mark.
